Wraparound services are community-based interventions that are made up of both, the child’s natural support system, and Remi Vista personnel. These teams provide supportive services that wrap around and address the needs of the child throughout many aspect of his or her life. Wraparound emphasizes the strengths of the child and the family and it includes the delivery of coordinated, individualized services to address needs and achieve positive outcomes in the family’s life. Services are delivered through a teamwork approach for the most effective use of inter-agency and family collaboration. Sharing responsibilities and risks as a team ensures that the child and family involved in Wraparound will have a voice and choice in the decision-making process.
Who is it for?
These services are for at-risk, post-adoptive children. Children must be referred by their respective counties in order to be given Wraparound services.
A Remi Vista psychologist leads the team and is often responsible for developing the treatment plan. Focus is directed on the child’s strengths, needs, and overall progress throughout the program.
